The Outcasts - Our mission statement.
The outcasts: those disenfranchised by our government, by our people-at-large and by our own. We are a collection of those who, when they say they have unpopular opinions, they don’t mean they advocate for stripping peoples rights, degrading society or destroying free expression. They mean that they have seen the ugly side of society very well, and aim to destroy it. Through our vision, we will make a world where people can be themselves.
Freedom of Expression Above All Else
The outcasts believe in free expression above all. That doesn’t mean you can’t be shunned for your opinions, but that the government can’t arrest you or investigate you for even the worst of speech, expression and personal lives, so long as you aren’t causing anyone around you harm. We compromise on the simple fact that the conservative maniac spouting drivel about how climate change is fake and the toxic, spiteful liberal third-wave-feminist who shuns men have an equal place in society, and don’t represent conservatives or liberals at large.
Science Above All
We believe that, no matter how hard individuals may try to sway us, that science will prevail above all. There’s a reason established science has lasted as long as it has; because you can’t disprove it (most of the time). We believe in rigorously advancing our technology, medicine and biology so we can be at our absolute best, and constantly working on improving our knowledge on science. An educated mind is never idle; it is constantly changing.
Advocacy and Action
We understand very well that the problem isn’t the people. It’s the institutions and corporations that have bled ignorance into our people because they understand psychology and how to weaponize it more than the people know how to recognize it and fight back against it. We know very well how the modern media has fed us a false narrative that we should never fight our foes, and instead of destroying them, we should cooperate with them. We know that this doesn’t work, and that it has had its chance to. If it is necessary, we will not be quiet, considerate, or kind if it means our people won’t have to struggle, and that those who exploit us are gone.
